New wind power project sends electricity to Alberta grid
News of 19-11-2006
The Chin Chute Wind Power Project, a
30-megawatt joint venture project between Acciona Wind Energy Canada Inc.,
Enbridge Income Fund, and Suncor Energy Products Inc., is now operational and
sending electricity to the Alberta Interconnected Electric System. The
$60 million facility is located 20 kilometres southwest of Taber.
