Spanish firm to invest $8B In U.S. wind energy plans

Spanish power company Iberdrola SA plans to invest $8 billion in renewable energy in the U.S. between 2008 and 2010. The world's largest renewable energy operator said in a news release Sunday it wants to gain access to a 15 percent share of the wind power market in the U.S.
