China to build six 10-GW-level wind power bases

China started the planning and construction of six 10-GW-level wind power bases in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Gansu Province, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Hebei Province and Jiangsu Province respectively in 2008, said Shi Pengfei, vice chairman of China Wind Energy Association.
